Chubu・Hokuriku Vitalization Investment L.P.

Chubu・Hokuriku Vitalization investment L.P. was established on October 27, 2016. Chubu Hokuriku GenPar G.K., a NSSK company, is the General Partner of the investment L.P.

The investment L.P. will invest in attractive small and medium sized companies with high growth potential based in Chubu・Hokuriku area (Aichi, Gifu, Mie, Shizuoka, Nagano, Toyama, Ishikawa and Fukui Prefectures).

The Chubu Hokuriku area represents an economic zone with approximately JPY 94 trillion annual GDP.

The investment L.P. will provide expansion capital, critical business processes for operational improvement, management talent from its network of domestic and international operating executives, the support for international business expansion and the support for attracting foreign travelers to Japan, to enhance the value of the acquired companies and eventually vitalize the regional economy, increasing the job opportunities in the region.

Yasuhiko Matsunaga


Mr. Matsunaga started his career with the Industrial Bank of Japan, where he worked mainly on forex dealing and M&A advisory.

Thereafter, he worked for IBJ Securities, DIAM, Shinko Securities, and Mizuho Securities and Tokai Tokyo Securities as Senior Executive.

Toshihiko Nagamori

Senior Managing Director

Mr. Nagamori started is career with Tokai Bank and had been responsible for corporate transactions in Chubu region for a long period, serving as the general manager of key branches such as Ise Branch or Nagoya Minato Branch.

In 2006, he worked as the head of real estate in Nagoya at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank.

In 2011, he became the head of Strategic Management Division in Nagoya of Tokai Tokyo Securities Co., Ltd. In 2014, he served as the Managing director and the head of Real Estate Finance Division at Tokai Tokyo Asset Management.
