We are pleased to announce that Nippon Sangyo Suishin Kiko (NSSK) has won the Private Equity International (PEI) Operational Excellence Award 2021 in the category “Asia-Pacific – Small-Cap”.

The award was received for the business improvement performance of BUNKASHA PUBLISHING CO., LTD. (Bunkasha), which NSSK invested in April 2017 and exited in October 2020. During the three years and five months of investment in Bunkasha, NSSK actively promoted the company’s digital transformation which expanded digital sales and improved profitability. In addition to improving the company’s business performance, NSSK also vigorously promoted ESG initiatives focusing on gender equality and women’s empowerment, including improving the ratio of female employees and managers.
